The Silver Key ~ Georgian Foiled Key Brooch

A really unique brooch from the early 19th century, this piece is composed of paste stones that form a decorative key motif with a yellow metal underside (the brooch may possibly be silver topped gold, which was common for the era, but I have not tested it). There are notable areas of oxidation and discoloration to the foil beneath at least half of the paste stones, making many of them appear a dark color. However, the uniqueness of the brooch’s shape makes up plenty in visual interest. Scratches and other wear to the metal commensurate with age; one small paste stone missing, brooch pin and hinge mechanism in good working condition.

SHIPPING:
I ship both domestically within the United States and internationally to most countries. The United States Postal Service offers both domestic and international shipping with options to insure a package and have signed delivery; however, UPS is also available for domestic shipping but will cost more. These options should be automatically calculated at checkout. For international shipping, USPS, DHL, and UPS Express International are the options available through Shopify. Please let me know if you need to make alternate arrangements.
RETURN POLICY:
I am happy to accept returns within 14 days of receipt of the item if you aren’t happy with your purchase, so long as the item is returned undamaged in its original condition.
