RETURN POLICY:

I am happy to accept returns within 14 days of receipt of the item if you aren’t happy with your purchase, so long as the item is returned in its original condition. Buyer will pay for the return shipping. If you wish to initiate a return, please reach out at lailas_jewels@yahoo.com or DM me on Instagram @oldcuriosityjewels. 

Two exceptions to this return policy: The first, wherein it extends past 14 days is if the item does not completely match the description of the item you purchased, or some other mistake was made on the part of Old Curiosity Jewels that led to your dissatisfaction or disappointment. The second exception is on sale items; all sale items are FINAL SALE.

SHIPPING:

I ship both domestically within the United States and internationally to most countries. The United States Postal Service offers both domestic and international shipping with options to insure a package and have signed delivery; however, UPS is also available for domestic shipping but will cost more. These options should be automatically calculated at checkout. For international shipping, USPS, DHL, and UPS Express International are the options available through Shopify. Please let me know if you need to make alternate arrangements.  

PRICING:

You may notice that the prices I set for my items are a little higher on platforms like Etsy or eBay.  This is because those platforms take such a large portion of the sale revenue, charging both the buyer and the seller more in fees, that I often need to raise my prices in order to make back just some of what those platforms take. This is why I encourage all my customers to purchase directly from my website if possible, as better prices are almost always offered on my website, both for instantaneous purchases and layaway purchases. Shopify also offers payment installment services like Klarna, Shop Pay, PayPal, etc. if that is preferred by the customer.

AVAILABLE ITEMS:

I usually post the newest inventory on my Instagram page first, but I do try and get it on my website as soon as possible. If you’d like to keep up-to-date with the newest items, be sure to follow @oldcuriosityjewels on Instagram and check the “AVAILABLE” highlights. Always feel free to send me a message if you would like more information regarding a specific item. 

LAYAWAY POLICY:

I offer a flexible layaway policy, with 25% initial payment for anything under $1,000, and 20% initial payment for any item over $1,000. This includes sale items. After that, you can split up the payments as monthly installments up to six months maximum. I understand life circumstances may change and may cause someone to forfeit a layaway item in the middle of their installments for one reason or another; in this case, I will do my best to work with the customer to sort out arrangements depending on their situation. However, once all layaway payments are complete and the item has been received by the customer, that item is considered final sale. Overall, I’m pretty flexible on a lot of things, as my main priority at the end of the day is that your treasure arrives to you safely and that you love it.
