The Aurora Borealis Ring ~ Victorian Opal Five Stone Half-Hoop Ring

A beautiful half hoop opal ring with tiny diamond chip spacers in between the graduated oval stones, this late Victorian ring is made of a rosy-toned 9 carat gold shank, and fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1896, with a maker’s stamp reading “NB.” The opals in this ring have such an ethereal glow and almost seem to have smooth, thin strokes of neon color in the sunlight. A very dreamy ring indeed, and a personal collection release! Approx. 3g total. U.S. size 6
Condition notes: Light surface wear and scratches to metal commensurate with age for antique pieces. One notable chip in the corner of an opal that is next to the middle stone; not uncommon for damage to be present in antique opal pieces as opals are rather delicate stones (see last image). Not noticeable when worn, and as of now is as stable as possible with the other three prongs in place minus the chipped corner, but should be handled and worn with care.

I ship both domestically within the United States and internationally to most countries. The United States Postal Service offers both domestic and international shipping with options to insure a package and have signed delivery; however, UPS is also available for domestic shipping but will cost more. These options should be automatically calculated at checkout. For international shipping, USPS, DHL, and UPS Express International are the options available through Shopify. RETURN POLICY:
I am happy to accept returns within 14 days of receipt of the item if you aren’t happy with your purchase, so long as the item is returned undamaged in its original condition.
