The Ferris Wheel ~ Edwardian Openwork Paste Pendant
Couldn't load pickup availability
Dating to the early 1900s, around roughly the same time the Ferris Wheel made its debut to the public during the World’s Fair in 1893, this wheel-like antique piece has a quality of delicate whimsy that the new carnival ride had. This openwork pendant is composed of silver and set with round, bright paste stones that sparkle like diamonds and burst into a motif that almost resembles a snowflake, complimented by an inner wheel of emerald paste stones. Overall good condition, minor wear to some of the green paste stones and some surface wear to the metal commensurate with age.
