Meet The Celeste: With her soft glowing tones of light blues, milky white, and a hint of something more ethereal that can't quite be described, The Celeste can only remind you of the Heavens.
The Celeste is an enchanting and dainty antique rivière moonstone necklace set with varying shapes of graduated round and oval cabochon cut moonstones set in silver. At 18 inches in length, this beauty dates to the Victorian period. The stones, varying in color from an aqua blue to a delicate white, glimmer with adularescence - the effect whereby a billowy, soft blue or white shimmer and glow moves across the gemstone's surface as the light moves over them.
Some very minor surface scratches, nicks and wear that are commensurate with age, and minor discoloration that is common with natural gemstones (nothing overtly noticeable or distracting; see pictures). The rivière closes at the back with a hook clasp (see image). Total weight is 12.5gms.
