Meet The Elsie: She’s geometric, modern, and sleek. She’s in with the new, and out with the old. The Elsie is a lovely ring dating to the 1920s Art Deco era, and she’s may as well be the poster child for Art Deco style jewelry. She is composed of 14 carat white gold and a satisfying combination of lines and geometric patterns. The ring also has three small diamonds placed in a vertical arrangement, with each set at the center of a pentagon motif, a square motif, and another pentagon motif, respectively. The profile is low, smooth, and comfortable.
It measures a U.S. size 4.5, and can likely be resized by a jeweler. It is in great antique condition, with no cracks, major scratches, or significant chips to the diamonds. However, please note that this is still an antique piece. As such, it is a pre-owned piece and is not in mint condition. Antique pieces almost always have hints of patina, surface wear, light scratches, small nicks, and other signs of wear commensurate with its age.
