Meet The Luna: Available here is a lovely Victorian pearl starburst brooch. Celestial motifs, i.e. star/starbursts, sun/sunbursts, and moon/crescents, were all incredibly popular during the Victorian era. More and more was known about the cosmos, and that fascinated the rapidly industrializing society to no end. Plus, it probably didn’t hurt that there were also some fashion icons, like Empress Sisi, around to popularize such motifs.
The Luna is an exquisite example contains split pearls mounted in 18 carat gold, and the pin attachment itself is marked as 15 carat gold. It also has a suspension hook on the back, so it can be worn as a pendant if desired. Overall, it is in very good antique condition, with light marks, very slight discoloration, and minor dents that are commensurate with age and wear. The split pearls are in good condition, with slight surface blemishes typical for natural pearls, some light nacre damage, and few cracks.

I ship both domestically within the United States and internationally to most countries. The United States Postal Service offers both domestic and international shipping with options to insure a package and have signed delivery; however, UPS is also available for domestic shipping but will cost more. These options should be automatically calculated at checkout. For international shipping, USPS, DHL, and UPS Express International are the options available through Shopify. RETURN POLICY:
I am happy to accept returns within 14 days of receipt of the item if you aren’t happy with your purchase, so long as the item is returned undamaged in its original condition.
